Just ignore the "professional" reviews about this movie because as usually in these days: when a movie gets only critics by journalists than it's means, that movie is interesting & worth to watch.
Ofc., if you don't like gore in movies at all, and you also not fun of ninjas & martial arts, then possibly you have to look for a movie elsewhere.
