So I can see why a lot of people hated this film - it was really different from what people really expect from musicals, but despite some weak spots (Kate Hudson, you do not have the voice for your own solo musical number) the cinematography was really good, the choreography was enjoyable, and the music wan't horrible, but it wasn't particularly original.

Marion Cotillard definitely gave the best performance, and didn't get nearly enough attention for it; Luisa was the only character who came across as "real.".
