Review of Nim's Island (2008) by Pete 1 — 01 Apr 2009
Good film, great casting. To be fair I wasn't expecting much, a simple concept and very much a childs view but this film is really really good. Abigail Breslin is moving on in strides, really proving to be a great actress and along with Dakota Fanning I think we're seeing the future stars of tomorrow.
Jodie Foster, really worked, I wasn't expecting it but her portrayal was really good, demonstrating that she can still make the most out of what is in all honesty a very limited part. A nice family film, enjoyable and worth the viewing.
