Review of Nim's Island (2008) by Lisa L — 02 Oct 2009
It's pretty forgettable, but it's refreshing to see a young girl as a genuinely strong lead character. Jodie Foster hams it up, Gerard Butler tries his best to be Hugh Jackman. But it's nice to have a proper adventure story with a girl as the main character.
It's largely tripe, but much good fun, and our girls liked it!
