This is a perfect film,, the writing,, the acting and the entire mood this film conveys is absolutely pure cinematic brilliance.. it does get shocking to an almost bleak point but leaves you feeling good with a feeling that these characters have hope and its never to late to change.. Ray Winstone delivers an Oscar worthy performance as an abusive alcoholic husband who has yet to come to terms with his issues..
This is one of the only movies that has truly moved me.. a must see for any fan of film,, although a warning to the squeamish it does get brutal,, but realistically so.
