Review of Nil by Mouth (1997) by Adam W — 16 Dec 2008
I'm generally put off by "kitchen sink" British films because they tend to lack visual ambition and are a bit, well, dull. This however is a fucking masterpiece. Ray Winstone and Kathy Burke are astonishingly good and it is at times both very funny and shockingly frightening.
