Review of Nights of Cabiria (1957) by Millo T — 05 Apr 2013
A heartbreaking tale of innocence never lost. Cabiria sees the world as she chooses to, instead of how it is. Beautifully shot and wonderfully acted. The script is smart and the film has a nice momentum.
This is one of the few times that you see the ending coming for a mile away, but that only makes it all the more impactful. It's impossible not to empathize with Cabiria's infectious optimism.
