Review of Nights in Rodanthe (2008) by Esperanza N — 07 Feb 2010
There seem to be no perfect analogy for the film than the actually house which was where most of the film was shot. Old, drab and dilapidated with that as a setting seem to pervade though out the movie.
The movie just like the house seems to collapse any time within its run. The players as accomplished as they may have seemed look dreary which was pitiful considering the onscreen chemistry that they share.
However just like and rundown house there is always that warmth and coziness that seem to emanate from within making the place livable, for the film its the genuine theme and message that makes its watchable.
