Review of Nights in Rodanthe (2008) by Connie H — 25 May 2011
Like every good Nicholas Sparks book turned movie you have two people that seem to be complete oppisites fall in love. In this case it is newly separated Diane Lane and Richard Gere who plays a doctor staying at the inn Diane is looking after for a friend.
Diane likes Richard then finds out why he is at the inn and doesn't like him then realizes that he is only human and all humans make mistakes and falls head over heels for him. While Richard is in Mexico working with his son James Franco and rebuilding thier relationship the two exchange letters.
For months Richard writes to Diane and she replies until he finally comes to see her, only he never shows up. Someone must always die in a Nicholas Sparks movie. And that's all I will say.
