Classic exploitation film. Absurd in almost every way possible. But not that funny. Takes itself too seriously, while its other competitors during that time, Return of the Living Dead 1 and 2 etc. were funnier and more interesting for exploitation.
The blood in this movie looks like red latex paint. 28 Days later probably borrowed heavily from the premise of this picture with of course better execution and more innovative approaches.
