Review of Nightmare City (1980) by Justin E — 18 Jul 2013
Umberto Lenzi takes a break from his cannibal atrocities to spin a tale of radioactively mutated psychos on a blood guzzling killing spree. a departure from the usual zombie fare being churned out in the early 80s.
fast paced with a haphazard plot and a confusing dream within a dream climax. but if you can get past that and the sometimes abysmal acting, there's lots of cheesy fun to be had. released in north america in a heavily censored form as "city of the walking dead".
track down the uncut dvd.
