Nightmare Alley looks great, and has a great cast of REAL characters...it's just hard for me to root for anybody save for Rooney Mara who tried to run away from greedy huckster played by Bradley Cooper.
Cate Blanchette wrote the book on Femme Fatales, and she doesn't disappoint here. Style trumps substance, but it was much better than Guillermo's last overated pot-boler/rom-com.
