If you like quirky characters this is your movie. "what would you do to get ahead?" This is definitely a darker character than Gyllenhaal has played before. I think Gyllenhaal has the makings of a great actor, I just don't think he's had that breakout role yet.
Reminds me a bit of Stephen Dorff, great potential but never went anywhere. I hope Gyllenhaal has better luck.
