Excellent acting, but feels like the movie ends 30 minutes to soon.

Jake Gyllenhaal does a fantastic job in the role of Lou Bloom, a man trying to find a career he can be passionate about. In that pursuit of his passion, he descends into the depths of corruption, sacrificing his humanity along with everyone else that stands in his way. Lou Bloom is the definition of a narcissist and you spend the entire movie waiting for him to get what's coming to him. As he becomes more and more depraved, the audience finally gets some satisfaction when the movie turns and it seems he is finally going to get what he deserves for all the lives he ruined then BOOM, movie ends.

It's like the director started to film the ending and got distracted by a butterfly, sending everyone home instead of finishing the movie.

For those of you who like the bad guy winning, you will love this movie.

For everyone else, don't waste your time on this. The ending alone will make you wish you were in one of those car crashes instead of watching this piece of drek...
