I get that this is a well-made movie, but it hit too close to home for me. In this age where the media is made out to be the enemy, seeing this movie is only going to reinforce that perception. It's been a long time since I've seen a movie where the characters are this repulsive.

I know there are people out there like Lou in this business, but he's not someone I want to be associated with. And it gets a lot of the TV stuff wrong. Lou and Nina wouldn't spend five minutes having a conversation after she has just said there was only 10 minutes to get this story on the air.

Lou would realize that he wouldn't be able to talk to a reporter out live by just shouting something in the control room. Not a fun viewing experience for me.
