The sweet girlfriend - who makes the hero defy everyone, even the nightbreed leaders - could be a lot more interesting, so we would believe his despair. that's probably my only problem with 'nightbreed'.
if we forget the girlfriend, it's truly a FUN movie. and you also see david cronenberg acting like an idiot.
