A new "Director's Cut" actually improves this movie a bunch. A lot of scenes that are cut back in greatly improve the film's pacing, especially in the beginning. A few other improvements are welcome as well.
It's still pretty flawed, but now a more enjoyable monster fairy tale flick. CHECK IT OUT.
