Review of Night Train to Lisbon (2013) by Shib Shankar S — 12 Jan 2014
Our life is controlled by random events. Our existence is fatalistic. Unexpected misfortune can befall one, from a seemingly insignificant occurrence and can change one's complete future life. This movie is about this basic existential question, a journey into one's own self.
It is also a look back into the history of the Portuguese resistance and how it changed the course of life of the people involved. Nicely directed and passionately acted film.
