Review of Night Train to Lisbon (2013) by Kevin L — 04 May 2014
This film was quite odd. The dual story worked quite well. The contemporary character´s quest to find out what happened in a murky historical past proved adequately compelling. Yet the plot holes and the, at times, melodramatic acting and dialogue proved to be quite off-putting.
The fact that none of the main characters were Portuguese and that everyone spoke perfect English gave it a very theatrical ambience - although not entirely to its credit.
