Review of Night of the Zombies (1980) by Senor C — 30 Sep 2009
Bruno Mattei's homage to the original Dawn of the Dead which is evident from the music (Goblin) to the swat team's uniform. It's a decent early 80s zombie flick with extra cheese and plenty of gore.
I used to sit and think of my own titles for this film, like " Zombies from the Jungle" or "Flesh Eaters from New Guinea" (lol). I wasn't too crazy about the zombies' make up, it wasn't too convincing.
I wouldn't put this in my top 5, but the movie was really cheap, cheezy and fun which for me are key elements for a good zombie movie,.
