Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Sarah N — 16 Sep 2011
The best black and white film I've ever seen. I liked how old school they played it up, how the radios and TV's didn't call them zombies, because the term is many years past the plot. It was a zombie flick for sure! The film has more to it then a regular "oh gosh it's zombies movies", because it's shot so old school they didn't know what was going on.
They were baffled by the dead re-animating and eating flesh. I also love the days of slow lazy zombies. Romero yet again proved his amazing talent to me.
