The first zombie movie and it's obviously dated - 45 years old now! - but it holds up OK. These are obviously 'slow zombies' (unlike 28 Days Later) and the irony is that they only kill 3 people the whole movie - the rest is down to human stupidity! Still, it builds suspense well, only focuses on six characters and has a great score to add to the tension.
Still worth a watch - it is in black & white - but has been done better since...
