I don't know if many of the critics on this site have actually watched this film. Its not that great actually, hardly 'gorey', and makes a more obvious political statement than a horrifying one.
Boring and dated, I still enjoy it as a piece of history or nostalgia. Its claims of 'film firsts' are not quite accurate either.
