Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by David L — 07 Mar 2014
It is very flawed and uneven and not always as engaging as it should have been, but Night of the Living Dead benefits from superb black-and-white cinematography, excellent effects and atmosphere, fine score and truly memorable and terrifying last act.
In the end, even though it somehow fails to live up to its reputation, it is still a horror picture done right and a very memorable experience.
