First in a franchise that inspired many.
Some of the acting could have been better though, that's always been a problem I've had with Romero's stuff.

One of the best zombie movies though, not that scary but the concept is always horrifying and there are some genuinely disturbing scenes. If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.
