Review of Night of the Living Dead (1968) by Claire T — 29 Nov 2012
Released in 1968, this film has withstood the test of time and has become a true horror classic and the template for most modern zombie films. When I rewatch it, it still amazes me how engrossing it is considering it's age and the fact that it's filmed in black and white.
(Which would usually drag entertainment points down) And, not to mention, contains some decently emotional acting and features a brutal feeding frenzy scene (for the time). In the end, it comes down to personally preference and, for me, this will always be one of the best zombie movies ever made.
Hopefully, you'll feel the same.
