Review of Night of the Demons (1988) by Blais E — 01 May 2011
Ultra-campy, Z-grade goofball schlock-fest, amazingly unapologetic in its unsophistication and low-brow antics, as a group of dim-witted, dunder-headed supposed teens (Played by mostly 25-to-30 year olds-) break in to "Hull House", a decrepit, abandoned mortuary on Halloween night to party and engage in predictably-moronic soft-core sex scenes ad nauseum.
Eventually they are possessed one-by-one by the sociopathic demon that resides there, turning them into blotchy-skinned, snaggle-toothed, drooling goblins with a penchant for sadistic murder. The bountiful-bootied Linnea Quigley thankfully shows her resplendently-ripe rump (As well as the rest of her anatomy-) on more than one occasion, and delivers her usual non-acting job (But with a butt like that, who cares?).
The scene where the Linnea-demonette pushes a lipstick-tube through her breast has to be seen to be believed. The opening animated credit sequence is atmospheric and extremely well-done. Freakishly fun, and a good choice as part of the festivities at a Halloween party where the guests have no taste! RUN, don't walk, from the recent colostomy-bag remake!
