Review of Night of the Comet (1984) by Brad P — 27 Mar 2009
Terrible 80s zombie flick that barely qualifies as such, with lousy acting and worse special effects. When a comet turns most of humanity into red dust (but mysteriously leaving their clothes and everything else intact), two valley girls are overjoyed to have the mall to themselves until they realize they must contend with hordes of partially vaporized undead.
Ordinarily I enjoy cheesy movies but this one wasn't bad enough to be enjoyable. It was just painful.
