Review of Night of the Comet (1984) by Alex S — 17 May 2011
Words cannot express my love for this movie. If the premise on RT sounds ridiculous, that's because it is... but in all the right ways. This movie has no illusions about what it is. It is a campy B-movie with a very young Chakotay.
But Night of the Comet clearly understands that even more than Snakes on a Plane or even the Grindhouse films and executes its schlock effectively. It is, in fact, kind of endearing.
