I still adore this movie! I thought it was clever, funny and "Valley Girl" meets "Night of the Living Dead". The cast was great (Michael Bowen from "Valley Girl" included) and still don't understand why Catherine Mary Stewart was never a bigger star.
I think she always surpassed the material she was given and should have easily moved out of 80s teen fare and into more serious roles. Instead, she got buried in forgettable movie roles and TV appearances after "Weekend at Bernie's" in '89.
This will always be - along with "Mischief" - one of my favorite movies of hers.
