Review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) by David H — 04 Apr 2010
Solid 4 Stars!
It did not take me long to see that this was quickly becoming one of my favorites in my "cute movie" collection. And Kat Dennings... Don't even get me started... HOT!!!
This was a great movie to sit back and chill while watching. The characters developed fast and immediately got my attention and (maybe seeing a little of myself in them) made me care about wanting them to get together. It was the typical, awkward, "you're cool, you're cute" situation while having the manipulative, â??Iâ??m not over youâ?? ex-girl friend in the back ground story but what I thought made it stand out was the use of the love of music that pulled the two main characters together and if you are into a more Indy music scene, you will like the soundtrack.
This movie had a subject that most of us could relate to at one time or another and showed it in a way that was entertaining the entire film.
