I'm not quite sure why this movie was made.. there is no plot, the characters are so shallow and predictable, and there's this annoying faux-indie crappy music thats always playing in the background that makes the whole thing seem like a waste of time.

Trying to cache in on the Juno indie vibe perhaps? Really makes NYC look nice at night though. It was better the second time because you're not expecting anything good, and it plays well off of its own kinetic pacing and Dennings' intoxicating good looks.
