Review of Nice Guy Johnny (2010) by Nic B — 04 Nov 2010
Many will be put off by this film's aggressively indie sensibility; however, I'm a big fan of Edward Burns' style, and this extremely likeable romantic dramedy is his best work yet. Reminiscent of Woody Allen, Burns' film is a low key yet dramatic love story that packs a punch, while also being somewhat cliched - but the acting is so good, you don't mind.
