Review of Nice Guy Johnny (2010) by Victor Erik E — 18 Jun 2011

I doubt everyone will like this movie as much as I did, but this one really resounded with me.

Edward Burns is known as one of the best low budget directors in the business and his latest offering did not disappoint. From the first scene you are simply overwhelmed at the quality of the writing, directing and acting with an obviously minuscule budget.

The dialogue reminds me of a good Woody Allen movie, needless to say Edward Burns is a big fan, witty, poignant and funny while never loosing site of the bigger picture.
