Review of Next Gen (2018) by Quishy B — 06 Sep 2018
It wasn't a bad movie, but it could've been better. I liked the heartfelt moments. Some of the jokes weren't bad, but I wanted to laugh a little bit more. Performances: good. John Krasinski did a good job playing the robot (7723).
Charlyne Yi did a good job playing Mai. They were good, but I just wanted a little more character development from Mai. Yeah, dad leaving someone can be relatable to some people, but I just wanted more of her relationship showing through more towards the robot.
Not bad, not great. Overall: okay movie.
