Nicolas Cage, like always, tries to make up for poor film choices with dozens of film choices, but the character's too unconstructed for that to be considered. The representation of Cages character predicting the future is slow, drawling and way over-the-top.

Also with fights that lack believability and an ending which begs you to ask if there was any point to watching the film, 'Next' really should be the 'Last'.
