Review of New York Stories (1989) by Terror A — 01 Apr 2007
This is a good but not entirely successful anthoogy fil set in New York City. Martin Scorsese's entry "Life Lessons" while well acted but sadly it's a bit of a bore. Francis Ford Coppola's film "Life Without Zoe" is nicely made but a little underdeveloped.
However the final entry "Oedipus Wrecks" by Woody Allen is a wonderful and very funny story that has terrific performances. Overall its a solid film but it could have been better.
