Review of New York, New York (1977) by Stephen L — 29 Oct 2007
Wow, um, a Scorses musical. It's entertaining mainly b/c of how silly it can be at times. Also, Liza Minelli makes me laugh without even opening her mouth, she is just so creepy. De Niro does a fine job.
It's colorful but much too long for the story to remain interesting. The last ten minutes is the best part. Great song, pretty mediocre movie. See it once and forget about it.
