Review of New York City Serenade (2007) by Steve S — 21 Apr 2009

This movie has good things going for it, but at the same time has things that cancel it out, and kind leaves a lackluster mess. there is some great dialog and banter between freddie prinze jr. and chris klein, and chris klein and anyone else he comes across, and some funny situations, but the drama seems overly pretentious, and just trying to bum out the atmosphere to the film, and it just doesn't work.

but to be fair, frank whaley's cameo in his own film is pretty damn funny.
