Not an entirely bad slasher movie, 'New Year's Evil', is a cut above early 80s trash like 'Friday the 13th' and 'My Bloody Valentine'. Cheesy, not very scary and a plot twist you can see coming a mile away.
But a nice closing shot and unintentional humor help a little.
