Review of New Town Killers (2008) by Paul E — 07 Oct 2009
Rather cheap and nasty 'thriller'. Not so much in the sense of the production but the attitude to life and fair enough that is the point of the film. Scott plays well enough the rich bastard getting his kicks hunting down and killing people he identifies as lowlifes, all for fun.
It's a bit of a statement on the state of society especially in Edinburgh where those from the the wrong end of town aren't accepted in New Town or any other la-di-da area. Not a bad ending but it could have gone one way or the other so can't give too much credit for that.
