Review of New Town Killers (2008) by Stuart B — 06 Oct 2009
Dissappointing Scottish thriller, whilst trying to turn the tables on the recent trend in portraying working class youth as thugs and killers preying on nice middle class folks (ie Eden Lake) is a laudable aim a genre flick is still required to provide certain thrills and pleasures to its audience.
Unfortunately New Town Killers fails to excite as an action flick and sorely needs an injection of Bourne-style excitment.
