Review of New in Town (2009) by Corinne M — 09 Sep 2010
OK, ok... quintessential chick flick, I admit. But its set in Minnesota, and no offense, but I find that accent hilarious. The dialogue is what really stuck with me; I was laughing out loud for most of the film.
Siobhan Fallon steals the show... and Harry Connick, Jr. is (*swoon*) lovely as always. On Renee: while I do enjoy most of her flicks, I can't help but sense she was miscast in this one. I'm thinking it was more a role for Diane Lane or a Jayma Mays-type.
But nonetheless, it was hysterical and enjoyable. =).
