Review of Neverwas (2005) by Selcuk B — 27 Jan 2008

[font=Franklin Gothic Medium]I watched the movie Neverwas last night and was totally blown away by it! I'm not usually an "art festival" type movie lover BUT this was simply a great movie! It was well written and well played by the actors. The only problem I had with the movie was that I really couldn't see why they had used Jessica Lange and Nick Nolte for such minor parts.

I think the most outstanding performance for me was the performance by Ian McKellen!!! I loved him in this movie. He played such an awesome character whose delusions were VERY real to him and were partially reality due to minions taking over his "kingdom" (in reality, a construction company bulldozing his property.).
