It's actually 4 hours of actual running time. Anyway, this is a pretty in depth film that discusses every single film in the franchise at the time, the shitty remake wasn't out yet. Just about every single main cast member from the films excluding Johnny Depp was interviewed about their experiences on the films and what they thought about each film. All five or so directors are included, and various members of the staff including screenwriters are interviewed.

This is simply perfect and as good as it's going to get for that complete package of behind the scene candid interviews with the cast and crew. You learn about original storyline ideas, what would have succeeded or killed the series and many more things. This is a superb treatment, running just under 4 hours, this is in depth and spends plenty of time on each and every film in the main series and then the spinoff of Freddy vs Jason. You couldn't ask for anything more in a behind the scenes documentary and this is the perfection that you're looking for in this series.
