Review of The Duel (2016) by Sean D — 29 Oct 2016
Fantastic western flick! Haven't enjoyed one this much since 2010's True Grit remake. Glad to see a modern addition to the genre that wasn't all, bad accents and overused cliche's. This film had the real character that is sadly lacking in many modern incarnations of the western.
The plot however, is deep. Meaning if you have a short attention span that can't keep pace or maintain interest without a lot of bells and whistles, you may find the build-up a little on the slow side.
I never leave reviews like this, but I enjoyed this film so much I needed to share! Thank you!
