An absolutely beautiful yet haunting film about mortality. Mark Romanek handles the film stunningly and fills it with the dread reminiscent of a horror movie, even the English countryside and sea side towns are photographed in a way they are beguiling and chilling in equal measures. Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield and Keira Knightly each give an extraordinary performances that will give your lacrimal glands a good workout.
