Review of Never Let Me Go (2010) by Kevin R — 01 Sep 2012
A lesser film would have tried to deliver the plot development here with twists but this is far too an intelligent story for that. The tone and mood is handled superbly throughout and what you are left with is a beautiful portrait of love, loss, guilt and ultimately mortality.
I haven't read the source novel but will certainly search it out because the themes are handled excellently. From the cast Carey Mulligan in particular continues to impress, seriously I think I could watch this girl read the phone book.
