Review of Never Give a Sucker an Even Break (1941) by Phil A — 24 Nov 2007
A pretty girl is walking down the road. A lecherous middle-aged voyeuring W.C.Fields quips "Well hello there honey, everything under control?". This earns him a smack on the nose. Who said American humour lacked interesting characters.
Worth a look for those who would appreciate 1930s depression absurdist humour from a true master.
