Superbly made film. Excellent performances across the board. Peter Finch rightfully deserved his Oscar. His portrayal of Howard Beale should stand among the best performances in the last 40 years if not of all time.
Lumet brilliantly brings forth this disturbing tale and creates an environment so cold and emotionless that you want to squirm your way out but you aren't going anywhere. This film made me uncomfortable in a way I've never experienced watching a movie.
